EDUCATION ADVOCACY SERVICES OVERVIEW
THE STRUGGLE IS REAL
If you find yourself struggling with your child's educational situation, education advocacy may be right for you. Imagine going to a school meeting to discuss your child's challenges and needs and not feeling unprepared, frustrated and confused. What would it feel like to leave that meeting confident that you improved your child's situation at school? How would you feel if you knew the school heard your concerns and addressed them? This can be your reality with my education advocacy services and support!
LET'S MAKE THINGS BETTER
By working together, we can make your meetings and communications with the school more efficient and impactful so your child will have the best chance to succeed academically. Collaborating with someone that has specialized training and experience with special education rights and laws, you can feel confident that your child will have a targeted comprehensive educational plan based on his/her specific needs.
HOW I HELP
As a non-attorney special educational advocate, I offer Michigan IEP and 504 Plan education advocacy, consulting, coaching and assistance. Since I am not an attorney, I cannot provide legal advice, however I can guide you to ensure your child's educational rights are being met. Since both federal and state laws apply to special education, I limit my practice to the state of Michigan. I work both in person and virtually (via phone, video conferencing) with clients in Michigan.
