WHY WORK WITH AN EDUCATIONAL ADVOCATE?

Some parents contact us and are not exactly sure what they need and some just call and say "I need IEP help."  They often don't really know what a special education advocate does.  They just know their child is not progressing academically.  They feel helpless and frustrated.  That's OK - don't worry about all of that.  We can talk and clarify the exact type of help or support you need to improve things for your child.

An educational advocate has many purposes.  Some clients just want coaching and guidance so they can better advocate for their child on their own.  Other clients prefer full representation at an upcoming IEP/504 meeting.  There are also other clients that just want me to review a current IEP/ or 504 Plan and make recommendations.  Regardless of where you are in this process, I can help you.

We are happy to discuss your child's situation and make recommendations or provide representation.  We can work together to identify what your child needs and collaborate productively with the school to make things happen.  Don't be overwhelmed by all the special education jargon and rules.  Let us help guide you through the process.  Our training and experience give us an advantage over the average parent trying to advocate for their special needs child.  Working with a special education advocate can make all the difference.  Contact us today and let's get started!  Also check out our resources page.
